Federico Ferrero is a fourth-generation winemaker based in Mango, in the Piemonte region's Cuneo province. His estate, Azienda Agricola Ferrero Federico, spans 35 hectares - 21 under wine - across hillside plots with limestone soils around Mango, Trezzo, Tinella, Neviglie, and Levice. After resuming wine making in 2002, Federico introduced a modern, terroir-focused approach rooted in family tradition.

This Barbera d'Alba is vibrant red, showing juicy notes of ripe red cherry, plum, and a touch of violet on the nose. The palate is fruit-forward yet balanced, with flavours of blackberry compote and spiced cranberry. It's natural soft tannins give it a lift and freshness, with a gentle trace of dark chocolate and clove lending depth to the finish. A lively, food-friendly wine with both energy and warmth.
