25 hectares of layers of sand and gravel on a subsoil of iron clay, the property of the Arfeuille family and being Pomerol, predominantly planted with 75% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. A sustained purple colour with a nose revealing cherry fruit and smokiness. Full on the palate with firm tannins and rich plumminess, with a fine aromatic finish. This vintage is rated 4 stars by La Revue du Vin de France.
